Bright House Sports Network, a regional 24-hour local sports network, has a Sports Managing Editor opening in its Tampa Bay newsroom.
The Sports Managing Editor will supervise a 30-person newsroom staff and station personnel working on sports content, including overseeing day-to-day editorial content, production of live games, on-line content, and solving the challenges that come with dynamic sports coverage.
The Sports Managing Editor must have demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of coaching, leading and motivating employees. A sports journalist with strong news judgment and an understanding of multimedia journalism and live sporting events coverage are essential for success in this position.
Our Tampa Bay and Orlando markets have very dynamic sports scenes so we need someone who can match that dynamism with a steady commitment to Bright House Sports Network. This is an intense leadership position. Candidates should have 7+ years as a Producer, Sports Editor or related leadership position.

High School Programming Coordinator
Bright House Sports Network, a 24-hour local sports network serving Tampa Bay and Orlando, has a High School Programming Coordinator opening in its Tampa Bay newsroom.
The High School Coordinator will coordinate and schedule live and tape-delay games with high school teams, coaches and athletic directors, organize high school content delivery for BHSN and BHNS.com with various high school sources, assist production unit in game and event preparation, assist in booking guests and handling interview arrangements and organize and manage high school events archive for future playback considerations
If you have a minimum of 1 year experience in a professional setting, knowledge of high school sports, and the ability to work a flexible shift. Then you can be part of our team!

Sports Reporter Video Journalist
Bright House Sports Networks, Tampa Bay Local Sports Leader, is looking for an energetic, creative Sports Reporter Video Journalist to generate memorable stories for Tampa Bay`s only 24-hour local sports channel.
Candidates must have the ability and flexibility to shoot, report, write and edit sports stories for prerecorded programming, live report or the web. Candidates should have at least two years television reporting experience and be willing and able to work as needed, including nights, weekends and holidays.
