ORANGE COUNTY -- Two women and an infant were killed in separate crashes Tuesday.
One of the crashes occurred along Central Florida Parkway near Rocket Boulevard.
Troopers said Denia Mejia, 24, pulled out into the intersection and was then hit by a dump truck.
Her car was ended up being wedged underneath the truck.
Mejia died at the scene.
Her 6-month-old son Hector Mendoza was rushed to the hospital, but also didn’t survive.
"But just the size of these vehicles, you've got one that weighs over 26,000 pounds and one that weighs about 3,000 pounds. So unfortunately, when those mix, it’s just a size difference. It's just an unsurvivable crash," said Sgt. Kim Miller from the Florida Highway Patrol.
The driver of the dump truck, Hugo Vasquez of Kissimmee, was not injured.
The accident comes hours after a mother was killed in a separate crash that also injured her young daughter.
Rosa Ruivo, 41, died after her car lost control, went off State Road 528 in Christmas and then hit a tree.
Ruivo died at the scene.
Her 6-year-old daughter was taken to the hospital, but is expected to be OK.
