LAKE MARY -- Florida's unemployment rate sits at a staggering 6.3 percent.
But where are the jobs?
Officials with Workforce Central Florida said they are seeing some job availabilities in areas related to the health care industry.
There are also opportunities in hospitality, hotel and theme park services.
News 13 contacted Disney who said they have hundreds of opportunities from salaried positions to guest services operations still available.
However, many job seekers said it's definitely tough to find work in this economy.
"We don't have the range of job orders that we normally do and we have a lot more people in the pool and there's a lot more competition out there," said Gary Earl, the president of Workforce Central Florida.
There are over 1,000 positions available on Workforce’s Web site and more than 39,000 candidates to fill them.
