Danny Treanor, Meteorologist

Danny Treanor says weather is totally unbiased! Weather touches and treats everyone equally. It doesn't care who you are or what you do, it gets hot and cold for everyone. That, he says, is one of his favorite things about his job.

Treanor handles weekend morning weather duties for Central Florida News 13. His quirky sense of humor and down-home personality made him a favorite with long-time Central Florida residents for 18 years when he worked for local ABC affiliate WFTV-TV.

The Florida native, who holds a political science degree, began his career in his hometown of Pensacola in the Florida panhandle. He spent six years in radio before making the jump to television. For 11 years Danny worked for WALA-TV in Mobile, Alabama where he did the weather and hosted "Dialing for Dollars."

The single father of two teenage sons likes to spend his spare time gardening, jet skiing, converting records to CDs and repairing computers. He's also a big movie buff.
