A great three-day weekend ahead with lower humidity and slightly below normal temperatures. Remember to take along your sunscreen and water as you enjoy the outdoors.
A few clouds may dot the skies during the midday but mostly sunny conditions will rule the afternoon. Highs today will range from 81 at Daytona Beach to 87 in Orlando. Expect some windy conditions especially at the beaches where wind gusts could reach 25 mph.
Clear skies tonight but still a bit windy. Lows tonight will range from 56 in Ocala to 61 in Palm Coast to 63 in Orlando to 70 in Palm Bay. Winds at the beach could gust to 20 mph.
More of the same expected for Sunday and Monday with the next mention of rain arriving on Wednesday. Persistent onshore winds may bring a shower or two to the coast, mainly south of the Cape; otherwise expect a dry forecast over most of the region.
Onshore winds will allow the surf to build this weekend and produce somewhat hazardous boating conditions along our coast for several days. Rip current threat remains elevated.
