Boy Scouts of America has been a big part of my family. I have participated in a scout troop as a young man and wanted my sons to benefit from the same discipline and experience. We have five Eagle Scouts in our family and I can see the qualities they learned in scouting being applied in their careers and families.
I believe my sons gained a sense of responsibility and respect that has helped them in their vocations and their important roles as husbands and fathers. Years have passed, yet they often speak with fondness about their scouting memories and the valuable lessons that continue to bless their lives.
