Rick Santorum cancels campaign events due to sick daughter

Rick Santorum, who was scheduled to be in the Bay area Sunday, has canceled those morning appearances because his 3-year-old daughter, Isabella, was admitted to a hospital in Philadelphia.

Rick Santorum was scheduled to be in Miami.

A campaign spokesperson said he will return to Florida to resume campaign stops as soon as possible.

The candidate's website still lists events scheduled in Sarasota and Punta Gorda.

Santorum has seven children.

According to Santorum’s website, Isabella suffers from Trisomy 18.
