A Missouri pediatric cancer patient is using his therapy to help offset his medical expenses.
Liam Myrick, 3, is undergoing painful treatment for a tumor on his kidney. His parents are facing more than $500,000 in bills for his care.
Doctors suggested painting as part of his therapy, and now that artwork is up for sale to fund his fight against cancer.
Liam's mother, Shawna, said that when he is painting, he gets a moment to be a regular kid.
"He didn't care about the fact that in a couple hours they're going to come in, poke around and it's going to hurt," she said. "He just lives for that moment."
Liam's artwork is up for auction on Facebook. If you are interested in helping out, visit his Facebook page for more information.
