8:45 a.m. Hijacked passenger jet, American Airlines Flight 11, crashed into World Trade Center’s north tower.
9:03 a.m. Second hijacked airliner, United Airlines Flight 175, crashed into south tower and exploded.
9:43 a.m. American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon.
10:05 a.m. South tower of the World Trade Center fell.
10:10 a.m. Part of the Pentagon collapsed. United Airlines Flight 93, also hijacked, crashes in rural Pennsylvania.
10:28 a.m. North tower of the World Trade Center fell from the top down.

Brevard County
Until 2 p.m. "Just Bob" Memorial Poker Run to benefit DAV post 123. The ride begins with breakfast at Uno Chicago Grill, 8260 N. Wickham Rd., Vierra. Flagler County
9:59 a.m. Palm Coast and the Red Knights of Palm Coast will host a commemorative event Saturday, Sept. 11. Seating begins at 9:30 a.m. at Heroes Park and the program will begin at 9:59 a.m. to coincide with the collapse of the first World Trade Center tower.

Marion County
Marion County Fire-Rescue will honor the 343 firefighters killed in the World Trade Center attack. At the time of the attack, the number of firefighters killed was larger than the Marion County fire department.

Orange County
8:30 a.m.: 9/11 Memorial Service at the site of the 9/11 memorial behind Windemere town hall. Joining Mayor Gary Bruhn will be other elected officials, Boy Scouts from local troops, vocalist Amy Thomas of Windermere Baptist Church, Pastor Barton Buchanan of Windermere Union Church and 9/11 victims family.
At 8:46 a.m., a moment of silence will be observed recognizing the time that the first airplane struck the north tower of the World Trade Center, followed by the placing of a wreath at the memorial. Windermere is home to a black granite memorial that displays a 650 pound piece of steel from the debris of the World Trade Center.
9 a.m.: A Blue Mass conducted by celebrates the work of public safety officials around Central Florida with mass and bagpiper procession, St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 526 N. Park Ave., Winter Park
