ORLANDO --

With the new Amway Center set to open in a few weeks, several businesses have been trying to capitalize on the expected revenue the Orlando Magic’s new home is expected to generate.

One of those businesses, the Mojo Cajun Bar and Grill, is looking to hire about 200 people at a job fair Thursday.

Organizers said they hope to attract thousands of people to the one-day job fair, scheduled from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Mojo is hiring hosts, bartenders and servers, and organizers said each applicant is also a potential customer.

From its location along Church Street, on the former site of Rosie O’Grady’s, the new Cajun bar and grill is just a five-minute walk from the Amway Center, and owners hope to open shop ahead of its new neighbors’ first tipoff.
