Fast asleep: Teams race beds in Miami

Teams push homemade beds in an annual race for charity in Miami.

MIAMI --

An unusual race over the weekend supported a good cause.

Teams of five pushed homemade beds down a South Florida street Sunday, with one teammate lying on top of the bed.

Prizes were awarded for the fastest beds, best team themes and best-decorated beds.

All proceeds for the annual bed race benefit Alonzo Mourning Charities, which help raise money for youth outreach programs.
