Wet roads blamed for 30+ crashes in one night

Wet weather Sunday night made for some dangerous conditions on Central Florida’s roads.

The Florida Highway Patrol said it responded to around 30 accidents across the region on Sunday night alone.

State troopers cited a number of factors, including rain and extra travelers on the roads during Labor Day weekend.

There were also reports of some power outages in Orange County Sunday.

FHP has had extra officers on patrol all weekend to crack down on drunk and aggressive drivers.
