A man faces prison time after pleading guilty to damaging federal land.
The U.S. Justice Department says Kevin Montgomery was burying garbage in the southernmost end of the Ocala National Forest.
They say he buried car batteries, vehicle parts and other items over a three-year period from 2004 to 2007.
Montgomery, who once lived in Altoona in Lake County, now lives in Alabama.
He's been released on $25,000 bond until his sentencing.
He faces five years behind bars for the crime.
