Last Updated: Saturday, September 04, 2010 8:16 AM

A Brevard County teacher was arrested and accused of stealing prescription drugs from his co-workers.

Palm Bay police took Discovery Elementary School teacher Michael Davis into custody Friday.

Investigators say Davis, 34, took medications from the purses of several other teachers in the school.

Officers think those thefts may have been happening for at least two years.

Davis was a fifth grade teacher at the school.

Davis was booked into jail on a $4,500 bond.
