Ocala man nabbed in sex solicitation sting

OCALA --

An Ocala man is in jail, accused of trying to have sex with a child.

Marion County investigators say Scott Howe, 40, thought he was e-mailing a father with an 8-year-old child when he was really online with a Marion County detective.

Howe set up a meeting with fake father and daughter Friday. That's when he was arrested.

Investigators say Howe admitted to enticing a parent to have a minor engage in sexual conduct.

He's in the Marion County Jail on $75,000 bond.
