Last Updated: Thursday, July 29, 2010 10:44 PM

Funeral services were held Thursday for a fallen Orange County Sheriff's Office helicopter pilot.

Craig Heber died earlier this month.

The 48-year-old was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and had been employed by the sheriff's office since 1988.

The service was held at the First Baptist Church of Orlando.

Before the service, deputies from the Orange County Sheriff's Office Motors Unit and the Seminole County Sheriff's Office participated in a 14-mile funeral procession on Interstate 4.
