Family who witnessed killer whale attack sues SeaWorld

The Connell family, who saw a SeaWorld trainer get pulled into the water and killed by a killer whale, is now suing the theme park.

A family that saw a SeaWorld trainer get pulled into the water and killed by a killer whale is now suing the theme park.

The Connell family said ever since the attack in February, it's been crazy emotionally.

The family, who resides in New Hampshire, is working with an Orlando attorney and suing SeaWorld for negligence and damages from emotional trauma.

The family shot video while at the park moments before trainer Dawn Brancheau was pulled into the water and killed by the whale Tilikum.

Todd Connell told News 13 his 10-year-old son has been in therapy since the attack.
