You may have seen a massive group of bicyclists in East Orange County Saturday.

Hundreds came together to pay tribute to a man and his three sons killed by a suspected drunk driver.

Roy McConnell was a well known triathlete in the area.

Six days after losing his brother and three nephews, bicyclist Jim McConnell and his family continue pedaling through a rough road of emotions.

"My emotions go from absolute joy of the things me and my brother have done together to madness, to sorrow to happiness. It's just a rollercoaster right now," McConnell said.

One thing Jim and his brother Roy did together was exercise. Both are members of bicycle clubs. So the decision of how to honor his brother was easy.

"We invited all his friends, my friends, the entire community to come out," McConnell said.

More than 200 bicyclists from competing clubs traded in a crucial day of training for an easy 30-mile ride.

"I am in awe, but not surprised. The cycling community is a very close-knit organization. I've got fellow competitors that we fight tooth and nail.  During every race they're out here to support me and my brother and this cause," said McConnell.

For the entire ride, Jim led the way. Riding his brother's bike, while wearing his helmet and team colors.  Behind him was a sea of cyclists.

"Some knew my brothers. Some did not know them. It is just such an amazing experience. Such a lump in my throat to see it," said sister Lorraine Wagner.

The ride may be for his brother, but Jim's new tattoo is for all four who died.

McConnell family members got a four leaf clover with the initials of Roy Jr., Roy the third, Nathan and Kelly.

People who meant so many things to many different people.

"Yeah, joy, happiness. Everything," McConnell said.

This is one of the final memorial events planned before the funeral.

The funeral is scheduled for Monday at 2 p.m. at the University Carillon United Methodist Church in Oviedo.

A fund to help the family has also been set up through Bank of America.
