Reported by Chief Meterologist Jeff Day
ORLANDO -- The remnants of Ida will continue to push east across Georgia as we move through the day, eventually to the coastal waters of the Carolinas, where it will slowly drift to the northeast over the next few days, pumping significant rains in to the southeast and Mid-Atlantic states.
A cold front tied to the low will drape across the Florida Peninsula, delivering scattered showers as we move through the midday hours.
