What is an isobar?
--Lisa, South Daytona
Lisa, isobars are lines drawn together to connect areas of identical barometric pressure lowered to sea level readings. You'll sometimes see them on weather maps around areas of high and low pressure. The isobars can give an indication of pressure patterns, which control the way air flows.
