--Carie, Winter Garden
Carie, most storms actually gain their strength the contrast created by the build of temperatures by the sun or the loss of heat when water vapor condenses. Storms typically take place in the late afternoon and evening hours, though we need to be careful. Strong storms can occur at all hours of the day when conditions are right.
