Expect another hot day on tap with temperatures making it up into the low to mid 90s. We'll again see scattered showers try to develop across the area with the best rain chances inland.
It will cool off into the middle 70s Friday night. Expect partly cloudy and muggy conditions.
For the weekend, expect a little more cloud cover to move. That will knock down the afternoon highs by a degree or two.
Also, we'll see our rain chances increase slightly by Sunday.
As for next week, expect scattered afternoon showers with temperatures in the upper 80s early in the week.
The tropics remain active with both Gustav and Hanna trying to further organize. Gustav will enter the Gulf late in the weekend and based on current forecast projections, it will not threaten Central Florida.
Hanna continues to spin in the Atlantic, pushing towards the Bahamas. Forecast models have not been able to pin down a likely final track for Hanna.
