ORLANDO -- Drivers on State Road 408 were in for a cash discount Saturday morning, as the first 1,000 drivers through the Conway East Toll Plaza were expected to receive a coupon for a free E-Pass transponder.
The Department of Transportation shifted eastbound traffic near the new plaza late Friday, so it could open a couple of new express lanes.
The traffic would pass through the old Holland East Plaza without paying, and continue to the new Conway East Plaza, where the tolls would be collected.
