Traffic started moving on a brand new flyover ramp between Interstate-4 and State Road 408 Tuesday morning in a major change for Central Florida drivers.
The new ramp meant drivers would not have to take the longer, twisting route from S.R. 408 to I-4 that has been in place for years, but the Department of Transportation said it would leave the old ramp open for a while as drivers got used to the change.
The new ramp was the biggest milestone yet of the nearly $119 million project to revamp the entire interchange between the two highways.
