Sparks were raining down on Interstate 4 early Thursday morning as the last section of the Anderson Street bridge in downtown Orlando was cut loose.
Traffic on I-4 was stopped for a while as workers carefully moved the last section of the bridge over the interstate and onto the ground.
A new bridge will go up to replace it. It is slated for completion later this year.
The new Anderson Street Bridge will allow for two-way traffic between Division and Rosalind avenues.
