A new interchange off the Beachline (State Road 528) opens Sunday night, allowing easier access to the Orlando International Airport.
The new ramp from the westbound Beachline to southbound State Road 436 completes part of the $26.7 million plan to improve safety in the area.
While the new ramp is opening, the Expressway Authority said traffic on the eastbound lanes of S.R. 528 could be reduced to one lane.
Some of the other lanes on S.R. 436 and the Beachline will be widened as part of project.
The whole intersection should be complete in two months.
