Additional Information

If you're going to be on the move in Central Florida today, you might want to stop by your computer first.

One year ago, Florida's Department of Motor Vehicles started a new emergency contact information system.

It allows you to attach emergency contact information to your Florida driver's license and ID card.

That information is then available to law enforcement if you are seriously injured or killed in a traffic crash.

So far, more than 750,000 Floridians have signed up for the free service.
