Seshmi Robertson was thrilled to join News 13 and Central Florida on Demand as an Entertainment Reporter in December of 2007.
She graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Communications and split her educational experience at Florida A&M University where she minored in journalism.
From a young age, Seshmi knew she wanted a career in TV news. She pursued that goal while attending FSU and landed her first TV job working weekends at WCTV in Tallahassee as an Associate Producer.
Seshmi spent three years there and worked her way up to a producer and then landed her first on air job as a general assignment reporter.
Seshmi also created and hosted a weekly Entertainment segment, keeping viewers up to date on the happenings in Hollywood.
She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the National Association of Black Journalists.
When not working, Seshmi enjoys visiting her family in Tampa, and traveling.
