Any form you can imagine -- or not imagine -- is available for download on the Web site. No more running to the library.

The Web site even displays the most popular forms requested.

Got a question about when you are going to get your economic stimulus check? Yes, you have to file a tax return. It won't appear magically.

The site contains a timetable for the refunds, and tells how to directly get the money into your account, which save at least two or three weeks in waiting time.

There is even a free online tool on the site, called the free file. There is even an initial screening to tell you if you qualify, with links to legitimate companies that provide the free service.

Actually, the best place to start your return is visiting the "1040 Central" link.

The top link on that page, called "Tax Law Changes," is a good place to start.

Another helpful section lists Frequently Asked Questions by topic, and by keyword.

Also important are the link to tax fraud alerts, including information on how to recognize and avoid them.

The biggie this year, again: phony emails that pretend to offer IRS refunds faster, and phone calls from phony IRS agents offering to double your refund if you help them with a survey.

Read this carefully: The IRS never emails you about anything, period, and they never call you about refunds, or request any information over the phone.

The IRS deals with registered letters, or setting up personal appointments at regional IRS offices.
