There is a new Wii video game console called the Wii Fit. In addition to providing entertainment, this new console will also help improve your health.

The family-friendly Wii Sport was released last year and already proved its popularity surprisingly attracting a wide age range. It's now beat out the Xbox and Playstation 3, selling more Wii consoles the first half of 2007 than both competitors combined.

Come January, Nintendo will release the next generation of the Wii. The Wii Fit, while being fun, is actually designed to help you become stronger, more centrally balanced like Tai Chi or Yoga.

You can amp-up a more aggressive workout with a device called the Wii Balance Board. It  tracks your movement and weight by putting you through a regimen of 40 physical act ivies, including stretching, soccer, dancing, and even the hula hoop.

The Wii Fit software collects data about your fitness progress, then you see it all in a visual graph.

A Character takes on your physique according to your personal settings and like the Wii Sport, this isn't just for youngsters.

We're already confirming rumors about the next generation Wii, hitting the market at around $70.
