ORLANDO -- It was a thrilling season opener at Bright House Stadium as the University of Central Florida Knights shut out the South Carolina State Bulldogs, 17-0.
Thousands of UCF fans gathered at the stadium to cheer on their team.
As Bright House Stadium got ready to kick off its second football season, some questioned if a song that got the whole stadium literally rocking last year will be played again.
Concerns arose when thousands of UCF fans jumping up and down to the song "Zombie Nation" caused the stadium to shake, but university officials said they added reinforcements to the south zone of the stadium for better support.
"I think we will still hear 'Zombie Nation' played at the games," said Al Harms, vice president of strategic planning for UCF. "It may not be for a two-minute stretch of time, but that was an important, spirit-generating piece of our game last year, and I think you'll see it again this year."
