The first game of the Magic's series against the Detroit Pistons ended pretty much the same as last year's series, with a loss.
The Magic hung around in the first half, but that all ended after half time.
It was a bad night for Dwight Howard, as he fails to record a double-double, with 12-points and 8-rebounds. He also injured his left thumb, and had to have it taped.
Detroit wins game one 91-72. Game two is Monday night in Detroit.
