ORLANDO -- Tickets are on sale for the second round of the NBA playoffs with the Orlando Magic.
While their entry is a sure thing now, their opponent remains a mystery.
The Magic are moving on to the second round for the first time since Shaq and Penny played together.
The Magic have a couple days off after beating the Toronto Raptors 4-1 in their series and it is the calm before the storm here at the RDV Sportsplex.
"It was a great victory to get and, unfortunately, there's always more work to do, so you'd like to take a couple days and just relax and enjoy it, but you don't get that luxury. But it was a great win and I feel good about it. I think it's nice for a player, at times, when you get this, no matter what you do. Even if you work real hard, you get to decide, you know, and that's always a different feeling than when, you know, I'm deciding and pushing people through stuff," said Stan Van Gundy, the Magic's head coach.
Van Gundy has been pushing for a long time. Two days off may be just what the Magic need to let the first-round win sink in.
"It really hasn't hit me yet that we're moving past the first round. It's just an unbelievable feeling. There's nothing right now that can explain how I feel because we did something I feel that hasn't been done here in a while and for us to close out a series, you know, it feels good," said Dwight Howard, a forward and center with the Magic.
A lot of Magic fans would feel good about the 76ers upsetting the Pistons, but Van Gundy is quick to point out, either you play the team that has given you problems in the past or the team that beat them. Either way, he's not going to worry about it yet.
