After a four-win season last year, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have made it back to the playoffs.
The Bucs were set to square off against the New York Giants at home Sunday.
The biggest challenge for Tampa Bay would probably be along the offensive line. The Giants led the NFL in sacking the quarterback during the regular season.
"They're very talented rushers, all the way across the board. Obviously, people talk about their defensive ends a lot, and they should," said veteran Bucs center John Wade.
"Our success will be determined by our first and second-down success," said Bucs right guard Davin Joseph. "Staying on the field, keeping our defense fresh, and really playing good on special teams also, but you know, offensively, we have to stay on the field."
Left guard Aaron Sears was still nursing a sprained ankle and in an air cast Saturday, but was expected to play Sunday.
Tampa Bay did not have momentum on its side. The Bucs lost their two games, but they were well-rested.
In the end, the Bucs fell to the Giants 24-14.
