KENNEDY SPACE CENTER -- NASA said Monday the launch of space shuttle Discovery has been delayed by six days.
Instead of lifting off on May 25, Discovery's new launch time was scheduled for 5:01 p.m. Saturday, May 31.
Bad weather last week delayed the arrival of the external tank at Cape Canaveral by several days.
That delay pushed back orbiter processing, as well as the planned April 27 rollover to the Vehicle Assembly Building, and the May 5 rollout to the launch pad.
The delays would leave enough time to load the 37-foot Kibo laboratory into Discovery's cargo bay.
