LOS ANGELES -- A new space vehicle has been unveiled that will be used to take tourists into space.
According to "Florida Today," XCOR Aerospace is in talks with Florida officials to launch the Lynx spacecraft from the Space Coast or Jacksonville.
Lynx was announced Wednesday and will be used to carry passengers into space as early as 2010.
The spacecraft would be able to carry a pilot and passenger high enough to experience a brief period of weightlessness and view the Earth from the black of space.
