ORLANDO -- Midnight marked the deadline to either submit or have your registration forms postmarked in order to vote in the Nov. 4 election.
Lines were long at elections offices all over Central Florida Monday.
In Osceola County, they held a tailgate party to help drive people to sign up and vote, complete with visits from several candidates looking for a victory in just weeks.
"I didn't even know there were local elections, but I was here registering and there's a lot of information I didn't know about so it's good," said Rhode Amima Amoumour.
The Supervisors of Elections are predicting record turnout for this year's elections, mostly due to the tight race for the White House.
