ORMOND BEACH -- Central Florida is getting ready for another visit from Republican presidential candidate John McCain.
McCain is set to take part in a "Joe The Plumber" tour rally Thursday.
Preparations had already begun in Ormond Beach Wednesday, which will be McCain's first stop. He also has a stop planned in Orlando to meet with business leaders, and then another rally in Sarasota.
McCain will make the tour with Gov. Crist, who was on national television Wednesday talking about the campaign.
"John McCain is my friend and I care deeply about him and his future his presidency,” Crist said. “That's why I endorsed him in the primary back in January here in Florida. He will be a great president. We are doing everything we can here in Florida. There was a poll yesterday in fact that had him up by one in the Sunshine State."
McCain's rally in Ormond Beach begins at 9 a.m. at Allstar Building Materials on U.S. 1.
Doors will open at 7 a.m. Tickets for the event are no longer available.
If you are unable to make the rally, News 13 will carry McCain’s speech live whenever it happens.
