Rona Gindin has been uncovering exceptional meals around Central Florida since 2000, when she joined Orlando Magazine as its dining editor.
She has written about restaurants for more than 25 years, covering every aspect of the foodservice world from staffing to kitchen design.
Gindin is the author of "The Little Black Book of Walt Disney World: The Essential Guide of All the Magic" (Peter Pauper Press, 2008) and "WHERE Orlando/Eat" (The Globe-Pequot Press, 2008), a guidebook to local eateries.
The native New Yorker was the founding editor of the Saveur.com Web site as well as the publications "Caribbean Travel Planner" and "Discover St. Thomas," "Discover St. John," "Discover St. Croix."
Gindin has contributed to numerous magazines, including Caribbean Travel & Life, Florida Travel & Life, Brides, Parents, New York, Endless Vacation, American Way, Food Arts and Nation's Restaurant News.
Gindin also edits the local restaurant reviews for Zagat's America's Tops.
