Father's Day Fishing At Daytona International Speedway

Fishing with your father on Father's Day on the legendary waters of Lake Lloyd with Daytona International Speedway as a backdrop from  7 a.m. - 10 a.m.

Daytona International Speedway is offering a unique way to spend Father's Day - fishing on the 29-acre Lake Lloyd located inside the track for the inaugural Father's Day fishing tournament.

Father’s Day Rod Run

The Central Florida Street Rod Association hosts the 20th annual Father’s Day Rod Run, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Southgate Inn, I-4 and U.S. 27, exit 55 behind the Bob Evans restaurant near Davenport. United Way of Brevard and Uno Chicago Grill will host a Father's Day Bash from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the restaurant at 8260 Wickham Road, Viera. The event will feature food, live entertainment and prizes. A percentage of the day's sales will be donated to United Way of Brevard. Call 321-255-1400.

Softball Tourney For Dad's Team

The City of Melbourne Parks and Recreation presents the First Annual Fathers Day Coed Softball Tournament June 27. A blind draw and rules meeting will be held June 18 at 7 p.m. at Southwest Park, 400 W. Florida Ave. Registration will cost $150 per team, and teams must have nine players, including at least four women. If a team representative is not present, teams will be notified of game time by 8 p.m. that evening. Southwest Park will be open at 8 a.m. for the first game, and concessions will be available all day. For more information, contact Pat Love at 255-4608 or plove@melbourneflorida.org. Teams register at the Eau Gallie Civic Center on Highland Ave. in Melbourne.
