The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that you get the H1N1 vaccine as soon as possible if you are:
- Pregnant,
- Living with or caring for children younger than 6 months old,
- A health care and Emergency Medical Services personnel,
- Between 6 months and 24 years old, or
- Between 25 and 64 years old, and at a higher risk for complications because of chronic health disorders or compromised immune systems due to medical therapy or disease
