Boy Accidentally Shot In Head Dies

TITUSVILLE -- A 15-year-old boy who was accidentally shot in the head Saturday has died.
Police said three boys were playing with a .38 caliber gun inside a Fourth Avenue home Saturday, when one of the guns fired and hit Johntay Gowdie.
He was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where police said the teen died Sunday.
Another 15-year-old boy has been charged with manslaughter of a child, along with possession of firearm by a delinquent, possession of firearm by minor under 18, and culpable negligence with injury.
The boy charged was locked up in the Brevard County Juvenile Detention Center. It was not immediately known if he would be charged as an adult.
