Deputies: Man Rams Cruiser Trying To Escape Traffic Stop

ORLANDO -- A man faces aggravated battery charges after a traffic stop turned violent early Saturday.
Investigators said a deputy was trying to stop a vehicle driven by Naeem Green, 23, on Goldwyn Avenue and Amelia Street, when Green suddenly backed up and rammed into the deputy’s cruiser.
Green bailed out of his vehicle on Interstate 4 at Anderson Street, but was later caught between Division Street and Terry Avenue.
The deputy was not injured, but the cruiser sustained minor damage.
