ORLANDO -- George and Cindy Anthony were deposed in the civil case of Zenaida Gonzalez v. Casey Anthony Thursday.

George's deposition began at 10:30 a.m. at the Law Offices of Morgan & Morgan.

George seemed combative through much of the interview, visibly upset with the questions being answered.

George said he believed Casey worked at Universal until the time she was arrested. He also said he had never heard of Zenaida Gonzalez until July 2008.

He said he did hear the name "Zanny" from his daughter a year prior to Caylee's disappearance. George said Casey told him that she met Zanny through working at Universal Studios.

When questioned about Zanny, George said he still believes there is a Zanny out there.

George said he had never seen the alleged Zanny the babysitter, nor had he seen the person sitting in the deposition room named Zenaida Gonzalez.

”The Zanny my daughter described to me is 24 to 25 years old, about 5 foot 7, 125 to 130 pounds,” Anthony testified.  “She has straight white teeth and long brown hair. OK, on a scale of 1 to 10, she’s a 10, supposedly."

Questions Asked About Private Investigator

George refused to answer questions about the family’s private investigator, Dominic Casey.  He also refused to answer questions regarding the search for Caylee, Casey’s behavior in the days following the 911 phone calls and anything having to do with the criminal investigation and frequently threatened to walk about of the deposition.

Lawyers asked George about private investigator Dominic Casey.  George was quick to point out that while Dominic was employed by the family, Jim Hoover was not.  Hoover was brought on as a “security individual,” not as a private investigator.  According to George, Hoover was assisting Dominic Casey in security matters around the Anthony home and was not involved in the investigation for Caylee.

Lawyers for Gonzalez also asked about payment for Dominic Casey.  After a number of objections to the question, George said an agreement set was arranged between the family and Dominic Casey, and to date, no money has been exchanged.

Cindy Anthony

Cindy Anthony started her deposition at 1:30 p.m.

She was forced to answer questions on her daughter, Casey's income, what she knew about Caylee's babysitter and Cindy's explanation on a premonition made by Casey that tragically came true.

Cindy’s deposition was a combative and emotional one. Brad Conway, her attorney, said the Anthonys just weren’t ready for that line of questioning.

"The lawyers today knew what buttons to push today and they did," Conway said.

John Morgan and his team of attorneys focused on proving that the alleged "Zanny the Nanny" doesn't exist.

"(Did anybody say to you ‘hey I met Zanny. She's a nice girl?) No. Zanny never came up in conversation other than Casey typically," Cindy said.

Cindy testified that she had phone numbers and addresses for Caylee's alleged baby sitter, but never saw her, nor was she able to explain how she would have paid for the nanny.

Gonzalez’s attorney set out to prove that she knew exactly where Caylee was and that it was not with a woman named Zenaida Gonzalez. They said their proof lies in a statement she said months before Caylee was found.

Gonzalez’s attorneys said they may file motions to force Cindy to answer some questions she refused to answer. But overall, they did have one major victory.

"The acknowledgement today both George and Cindy, saying this isn't this Zenaida. This is a wonderful step for us," said Keith Mitnik.

The Anthonys left Morgan & Morgan around 4:30 p.m.
