Jessica Lunsford’s Father Reveals He Has A New Child

OCALA -- The father of Jessica Lunsford revealed he has a new child in an interview with the Ocala Star-Banner this week.
Mark Lunsford said his girlfriend gave birth to a boy on Oct. 6, 2007, on what would have been Jessica’s 12th birthday.
Jessica’s 2005 abduction and murder in Citrus County prompted better tracking of sex offenders and harsher punishment for repeat offenders.
Mark Lunsford said he took the boy’s birth as a sign that God was giving him a second chance at being a father.
He said tried to keep it a secret to shield the child from the spotlight.
