Reported by Nick VinZant

PALM BAY -- Tony Green, 44, appeared in court Wednesday, charged with kidnapping, attempted sexual battery and various other charges.

The judge set bond at more than $200,000.  Green was also ordered not to have any contact with the alleged victim.

Green’s neighbors say they are shocked, but not surprised.

"From what I see on television it can happen anyplace.  You have to be careful about what’s going on," said neighbor Thomas Donovan.

Green is accused of luring a friend of his to his house and then trying to turn her into a sex slave.

Police say Green wanted to tie the woman up, take pictures of her and then use those pictures to blackmail her into having consensual sex with him once a week.

The woman was able to talk Green out of his plan and escape.

Green's next court date is set for Dec. 1.
