ORLANDO -- A dispute over beaches and private property rights here in Florida, will be heard in the U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday.
The high court will hear a case brought by coastal property owners in the Florida panhandle.
The owners say, when the state put sand on the beach to restore it, the sand effectively put a public beach on their private land.
The state court says, the replenishment projects, are necessary to protect a valuable resource.
The case could effect replenishment programs and coastal property rights across the country.
