ORLANDO -- James Ward, the Isleworth millionaire accused of murdering his wife, will soon be out of the Orange County Jail.
Judge Walter Kominski set bond Thursday. It was posted around 7 p.m.
It is not known exactly when Ward will be released.
Per the conditions of his bond, Ward must surrender his passport, all firearms and can not drink alcohol. He will wear a GPS monitoring device and is not allowed to leave his home from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Ward is also required to appear in court.
The defense alleges there was a fight or struggle between James and Diane Ward and the gun went off accidentally.
Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Jan Garavaglia testified it's highly unlikely Diane Ward committed suicide.
At the bond hearing, the couple’s daughters also spoke.
They said there's no way their father killed their mother, and pleaded for his release.
The oldest, Mallory, also gave an explanation to the odd behavior when she visited Ward in jail.
"My father and I have a joking relationship and just because I joked with him for 45 minutes in a visit, or three visits, doesn't mean that I wasn’t upset over what happened. Doesn't mean that I hadn’t cried the three days before that, or cried the three days after or the two weeks since," Mallory Ward said.
"(What is the most important thing in the world to your father right now?) Me and my sister. (Thank you. Is that why he'd stay around?) Yes, sir," said Sarah Ward.
Ward is charged with second-degree murder and is facing life in prison.
A trial is set to start in February.
