Clermont Man Found Dead At NC Rest Stop

BENSON, N.C. -- A man from Clermont has been found dead inside a trash bin at a rest stop in North Carolina.
Johnston County Sheriff's officials said the man is Randal Ray Rockwell, 59.
His body was found Tuesday evening by a rest stop attendant who was taking out the trash.
North Carolina's medical examiner said Rockwell died from a single self-inflicted gunshot wound.
No charges are expected to be filed.
