Police: Beware Of Car Warranty Phone Scam

ORLANDO -- Beware of a possible car warranty phone scam, the Orlando Sentinel reported Tuesday.
According to the paper, police said people are getting phone calls claiming the warranty on their vehicle is getting ready to expire, and pursuading people to buy extended warranties.
Police warned people not to give out their private financial information.
If you receive a call like this, report it to the Federal Communications Commission.
